She was predeceased by: her parents, David D. Alston Sr. and Alice B. Alston (Bell); her brother David D. Alston Jr.; and her stepson W. Maurice Allen. She is survived by: her sisters, H. Jean (Alston) and Glover (Christopher Glover); and her children, Sheila Rae Ragland (Powell), Jeymi Lynn Mullen (Powell), Anita Yvette Powell, Damon Mandel Powell (Carol Joy), Rev. Robin Allen and Doris Lynn Allen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service (220 E Lincoln Ave, McDonald, PA 15057). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of McDonald (141 N McDonald St, McDonald, PA 15057). A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM.
