She was predeceased by : her parents, Alex Cumer and Edith Perrine Cumer; her husband John Yago; and her brothers, Alex, Richard, Raymond and William Cumer.

She is survived by : her children, John Joseph Yago of McDonald, Gina Kostrub (Daniel) of McDonald and Alexis Maresca (Albert) of Atlantic Highlands; her siblings, Kenneth Cumer (Ruthann) of Claysville, Gerald Cumer (Mary) of Greensburg, Betty Novak of Canonsburg and Helen Inman (Byron) of Eugene, Oregon; her sister-in-law Shirley Cumer of Texas; and her grandchildren, Ashley (Lara) of Justine, A. J., Brett, Jacob, Dylan (Aniela) and Colin. She is also survived by 1 great grandchild, A. J; several nieces and nephews.

The family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of one's choice, in Ruth's name.
