We bid farewell to Bernice J. Tomasik (Bueg) Bennett of McKean, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 23, 2025 at the age of 100. Bernice J. Tomasik touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bueg and Elizabeth Apthorp Bueg; her husbands, Henry Tomasik and Thomas Bennett; her sister Carol Senita; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Tomasik, Richard Sidelinger and Thomas Zapolski.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Rose; and her children, Nancy Sidelinger (Cliff), Henry Tomasik (Lisa), Margaret Reslink and Jane Timm (Jody). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (306 Erie St, Edinboro, PA 16412). A prayer was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Church (8880 Main St, McKean, PA 16426).
