He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Luden and Beulah May Matha Luden; his son Dennis J. Luden Jr.; his grandson Desmond L. Luden; and his siblings, Shirley Thayer and Charles F. Luden Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly K. Luden; his grandchildren, Derek, Jon, Ashley, Anthony, Caitlin, Brennan, Hailey, Dennis, Daniel, Heaven Lee, Colton and Harper; his great grandchildren, Everlynn, Adalynn and Ravenna; his siblings, Jack Luden (Ann), Hope Falk (Bob), Mark Luden (Liz), Debra Hinz (Dave) and Betsy Harris (Bob); his in-laws, Janice Meyer, Sherri Erdley (Dana), Brian Morgan (Marylynn), Eric Morgan (Jolene) and Valerie Benjamin (Shawn); and the mother of his children Darlene R. Haddix. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
