He was predeceased by: his father Richard Wheat; his stepparents, Margaret and Charles Ferguson; his brothers, Richard and Eric Wheat; and his nephew Larry Tamar Wheat.
He is survived by: his mother Laura Ferguson; his siblings, Denise Wheat, Diana Rankin, Tonya Steven and Samuel Simon; and his stepbrother Steven (Mike Hughes). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
