He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schelling and Mary Ann Schelling; his aunt Irene Muha; his cousin Eileen Muha; and his brother-in-law Jay Spishak.
He is survived by: his siblings, James, Albert, Gary Schelling and Marianne; his nieces and nephews, Sara Herleman (Erik), Thea Belle and Jameson; and his cousin Noreen Muha (Darlene Janus).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. (941 McCoy Rd, McKees Rocks, PA 15136). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church (225 Olivia St, McKees Rocks, PA 15136). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Marks Cemetery.
