He was predeceased by: his mother Tillie Hochman (Lebowitz); and his brothers, Howard Hochman (Sharon) and Lawrence Hochman. He is survived by: his father Thomas Hochman; his wife Deanna Hochman (Paterra); his children, Jason Hochman and Jill Hochman Wilson (Dylan); his granddaughter Elizabeth Wilson; his siblings, Richard Hochman (Shirley), Judith Young (Linda) and Deborah Sue Hochman; and his sister-in-law Denise Paterra Glick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
