She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Anderson and Helen Anderson (Mann); and her husband Donald L. Fry. She is survived by : her daughter Denise L. Fry; her siblings, Nancy Heveker and Jack Anderson, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Gavigan, Carol Kirschner (Bill), Dorothy Fry, Jack Fry (Theresa) and Davis "Porky" Fry (Jean). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was a volunteer for the Penn State McKeesport Alumni Society and the American Cancer Society. She was a proud member of the Parrotheads for a Cure Team for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of McKeesport.
