She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer J. Hood and Ruth Hood (Farber); her husband Robert Mullen; her son Kenneth Smith Jr.; her grandson Tommy; and her siblings, Evelyn, Barbara, Shirley, Dennis and Elmer Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Wendy Buza (Dan) of Elizabeth, Michael Smith of Belle Vernon and Mark Smith (Stacey) of McKeesport; her stepsons, Scott Mullen (Christine) of McKeesport and Shawn Mullen of McKeesport; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna, Jacob, Abrielle, Jeremy, Arionna, Shane, James (Jimi), Danielle, Dana, Nick, Rayli, Haily and Marky. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews.
