She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon R. Zawasky and Margaret Shearer-Zawasky (Ord); her siblings, Norma Heatherington, Moira Brown, Nancy Gloor and David Shearer; and her stepgrandson Zaylon Simmons.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Ama Simmons of McKees Rocks; her stepgrandchildren, Jamare and Starr Raylinn; and her siblings, Donna Heatherington and Brian Shearer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
