He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kirshchner and Lotta Kirshchner (Schroeter); and his aunts, Gertrude Blaha and Hedwig Olson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kirschner (Fry); his children, Christopher Kirschner (Marina Bradaric) and Lisa Scanlon (Brian); his grandchildren, Brandon Scanlon, Anna Scanlon and Lea Kirschner; and his brother Robert Kirschner.
