He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Scheetz Jr. and Alberta V. Scheetz (Evans); and his sister Annette Marie Koman. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Louise Scheetz (Morgan); his daughter Diane Louise Baldwin (Robert) of State College; his grandchildren, Brooke Ashley (Jake Gregg) and Dayna Marie Baldwin; his son William Arthur Scheetz, Jr. (Bernadette) of Patuxen River, MD; his grandchildren, Casey Louise Scheetz and James Richard Scheetz; his brothers, Barry James Scheetz (Linda) and Keith Michael Scheetz (Judy); and his brother-in-law Allan Koman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory (6028 Smithfield St, Boston, PA 15135). The military honors was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Round Hill Cemetery's Chapel (2131 Round Hill Church Rd, Elizabeth, PA 15037).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lincoln Borough Fire Hall.
