He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Ascencio and Socorro Ascencio; his son Antonio; and his brother Felipe. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Ascencio (Weis); his sons, Miguel, Ismael, Ellian and Estefano; and his siblings, José, Ana, Rigoberto, Esther, Socorro, Guillermo, Luz Angelica, César, Arturo and Mayra.
