He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Laychak and Irene Laychak (Vislay); and his brother Lawrence Laychak. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Kathleen Laychak of West Chester, PA; his nieces, Mary Beth Laychak (Andrew Odell) of Hawaii and Jayne Overturf (Ryan) of West Chester; his great-nephew Wesley Overturf; and his great-niece Marley Overturf.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home (915 Kennedy Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (529 Grant Ave Ext, West Mifflin, PA 15122).
