She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Douglass and Sarah Douglass; her sister Shirley Ball; and her husband John C. Cooper. She is survived by: her children, Douglass Cooper (Sherry McKibben), Sarah "Sally" Elizabeth Cross and John Coleman "Cole" Cooper, Jr.; her grandchildren, Mac Cooper (Carmelle) and Julia Cooper; and her great grandchildren, Amara and Noli Cooper. She is also survived by her children were older and her eldest son.
