He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parent Pat Heckathorn; his adoptive father George (Huck); his wife Judy Herder Fonte; his stepchildren, Bill Herder (Stacy) and Aimee Nordmann (Erich); his grandchildren, Michael, Beth Herder and Anna Nordmann; and his siblings, Nancy Walker, Debbie Kelly, Ron Heckathorn, Bernard Heckathorn Jr., Lee Fonte and Howard Fonte. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
