She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Ross and Frank Ross of Houston, PA.. She is survived by: her husband Col. Carl L. Battistone; her children, Ann (Doug), Lisa (Chris), Carl (Dena), Dona (Eric), Mari (Roger) and Marc (Tammie); and her brother Sam Ross (late Marge). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and cherished in-laws.
