With sadness, we share the passing of Amy M. Sherdel of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania. Amy, born on November 30, 1923, passed away on July 17, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Amy M. Sherdel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Sherdel; her parents, James A. Moore and Corinne F. Moore (Oaster); her children, Elaine Murren and Robert Sherdel; and her brothers, Paul Moore and Earl Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Sherdel, John Sherdel (Mary), Judith Eltz (Thomas) and Teresa Sherdel; her children-in-law, Raymond "Lefty" Murren and Brenda Sherdel; and her son Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel (Richard J. Lyons). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
