He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou Brady (Tawney); his parents, Raymond E. Brady and Helen B. Brady (Lentz); and his brothers, Donald Brady and William Brady.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Beard (Jim) and Bernard "Chip" Brady (Donna); and his grandchildren, Jason Beard (Diane), Wendy Young (Rich), Ryan Brady (Katie) and Melissa Nace (Jeremiah). He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, August 27th 2028 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (26 N 3rd St, McSherrystown, PA 17344). A prayer will be held on Sunday, August 27th 2028 at 6:30 PM at the Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. (501 Ridge Ave, McSherrystown, PA 17344).
