He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard S. Groft and Margaret M. Groft (Weaver); and his brother Bernnard Groft. He is survived by: his son Nicholas Groft; his grandchildren, Keegan and Kohan; and his siblings, Rose Smith, Susan Wierman, Patricia Lawrence (Mike) and Thomas Groft (Joyce).
