He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Bortner (Level) and Miles E. Bortner; his significant other Carol Bortner (Groft); his stepdaughter Jackie Taylor; his son-in-law Alan Little; and his sisters, Dorothy (LeRoy Berkheimer) and Bety (James McDannel).
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Little, Crystal Sentz-Belivakici (Thomas) and Michele Smeach (Todd); his granddaughter Kaila Pigott (Chris); his stepgrandson Payton Taylor (Maggie); his great grandchild Maggie McCabe Pigott; his wife Pat McKim-Bortner; and his stepchildren, Tina Hillman, Terri Grabill (Jerry), Rick Yoder (Tammy Sharon) and Tricia Staub. He is also survived by 3 nieces, 1 nephew, & 9 great-nieces & nephews, 10 step-grandchildren & 4 step-great-grandchildren.
