He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert M. Bankert and Pauline E. Bankert (Miller); and his wife Mary I. Bankert (Kauffman). He is survived by: his sons, Michael R. (Lori) of Lewistown, Patrick N. (Susan) of Sellersville, John M. (Tammy) of Sellersville and James B. (Michelle) of Perkiomenville; and his sister Sonya Bankert of Hanover. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
