We bid farewell to David Earl Wilson of McVeytown, Pennsylvania, born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 31, 2025 at the age of 68. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact David had on those he encountered along his journey. Though David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Wilson (Pearson) and Charles H. Wilson; and his niece Heather M. Hess. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wilson (Helm) of McVeytown; his daughters, Sierra Fisher (Timothy) of Wendell, NC and Molly Gongloff (Joseph) of Huntingdon, PA; his granddaughter Gwynevere Gongloff; and his sister Linda Hess (Joseph) of Mount Joy, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Atkinson Mills Sportsmen Club (55 Sportsman Club Ln, Mcveytown, PA 17051).
