With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mabel Mae Stimely of McVeytown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mabel Mae Stimely to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar S. Hutchinson and Mildred S. Hutchinson (Pennebaker); her husband John A. Stimely Sr.; her great grandchild Zeb Franklin; her siblings, Mary, James, Paul, John, Max, Glenn, Robert, Donald and Larry; and her close friend Lynn Dum.
She is survived by: her children, Steven J. Stimely (Karen) of McVeytown, Beverly M. Stimely of Lewistown, Susan L. Schulties of Lewes and John Stimely Jr. (Sandra) of Lewistown; and her sister Norma J. Jones. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes (200 N Main St, Lewistown, PA 17044). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home (200 N Main St, Lewistown, PA 17044). A burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at the Juniata Memorial Park (9010 US-522, Lewistown, PA 17044).
