He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O. Richard and Esther Richard (Pees); and his sister Norma A. Burchard. He is survived by: his wife Cecile Richard; his children, Karen Chess (Dale) of Bethel Park, Mark Richard of Montevallo, Diane Edwards (John) of Fort Myers and Linda Richard of Baltimore, Maryland.; his grandchildren, Clayton Edwards, Mary Edwards, Nicholas Chess, Kaitlin Chess, Maggie Richard, Hope Richard and Nicole Richard; and his brother Paul A. Richard (Sophie) of Titusville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
