He was predeceased by: his parents, Viktors Liepins and Zelma Liepins; his wife Cynthia Louise Tracy Liepins; his brother Oyars Liepins; and his sister-in-law Brunhilde Liepins.
He is survived by: his nephew Mark Oyars Liepins; his nieces, Sonia Liepins Merrell and Tamara Jennifer Spencer; and his cousins, Inese Silina (Latvian), Janis Silins, Karlis Cecins and Valdis Cecins. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
