He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hugh and Virginia Lackey Sr. (Sparrow); his siblings, Thomas A. Lackey, Sandra H. Coleman and Elmer Hugh Lackey Jr.; his close friend Darla Shay; and his niece Melissa Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Robbie Shay (Stephanie) of Meadville, PA and Stacey Shay of Conneaut Lake, PA; his grandchildren, RJ, Keegan, Tori, Haley and Payton; his great grandchildren, PJ and Praxton; his sister Ann Williams (Mike) of Northeast, PA; and his siblings-in-law, William M. Coleman Sr. and Linda Beth Lackey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
