John H. Rictor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Rictor of Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rictor, and Dorothy Rictor, Sr. (Buckles); and his brother Gary Rictor. He is survived by: his wife Joanne E. Hunt; his daughter Brandy Rictor of Meadville; his stepchildren, Sheryl Lombardi (Jamie) of Meadville, Ananda Hornstrom of Pittsburgh and Adaena Tray (Chris) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Treelyn Kunz, Jacob Kunz, Silas Brown, Lynnea Lombardi, Abby Lombardi, Aylee Hornstrom and Cayden Gambone; and his sister Gloria Klofft of Erie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (404 Chestnut St, Meadville, PA 16335). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in John's memory to Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108, 161 Carringer St., Cambridge Springs, PA 16403 or Anna Shelter, 1555 E. 10th St., Erie, PA 16511.
