We bid farewell to Margaret A. McDade of Meadville, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 20, 2025 at the age of 96. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Smilak and Margaret Smilak (Vekasy); her husband Norwood L. McDade (Sox); and her brother Edward Smilak. She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Grubbs (Richard), Patricia Pfaff (Craig Morgan) of New Brighton, PA, Donna Zimmerman (Mark) of Meadville and Nancy Deyarmin (Jeff) of Ponce Inlet, FL; her siblings, Irene Roscoe (Robert) of Monaca, PA, Barbara Rhymer (Stacy) of Winston Salem, NC and Bernard Smilak of California; and her grandchildren, Brian, Justin, Nathan, Keith, Joy, Clint, Erica, Kelsey, Colin, Stephen, Emily, Alexis and Brenna. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Saegertown United Methodist Church (620 Euclid Ave, Saegertown, PA 16433). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
