She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred R. Brown and Frances Brown (Rice); her husband Homer D. Shay; and her siblings, Ina Mae Kean, Elmer Brown, Raymond Brown, Myrtle Hines and Myron Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Shay (Patsy) of Pittsburgh, Ralph Shay (Deborah) of San Antonio, TX, Ronald Shay (Darlene) of Cochranton and Judith Shay of Meadville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
