He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hellam (Shillow); his children, Bryan Hellam (Holly), Kelly Hellam, David Hellam (Jillian), Kevin Hellam (Julie) and Michael Hellam (Carol); his grandchildren, Dylan, Kyle, Jaysen, Logan, Alexander and Payne; and his sister Deborah Shipman (Lee).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alan's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
