We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2024, at the age of 89, Darlene Rae (Heckman) Smith of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Blain, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Rae Heckman and Kathryn Heckman (Kistler); her husband Robert E Smith; and her son Richard A. Evans. She is survived by: her children, Danny Evans of Etters, Deborah Baker (Blaine) of Marysville and Michelle Quigley (Scott) of Carlisle; and her sister Patricia Trimmer (Ted) of Mechanicsburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
