She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Joseph Gocek and Agnes Gocek (Wysocki); her great grandchild Jack Heinnickel; and her brother Leonard Gocek. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Francis Dougherty, Jr.; her children, Joan Teresa Dougherty and David Thomas Dougherty (Linda); her grandchildren, Jessica Hetrick (Michael), Christina Heinnickel (Jeremy), Kieran Dougherty and Brianna Dougherty; and her great grandchildren, Adilyn, Emma, Isabelle, Reagan and Wyatt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (410 E Simpson St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (410 E Simpson St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (1804 Fisher Ave, Annville, PA 17003).
