He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Edelman and Minnie Edelman (Muschko); his siblings, Martin Edelman, Clarence Edelman, Allen Edelman, Dolores Hoppes, Lorraine Edelman, Marie Hahn, Diane Mall, Maryann Neetz and Pearl Zuberka; and his stepsiblings, Carl Edelman, Edith Santee and Ruth Stettler.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Recek); his children, Lee Ann Fackler (Jeff), Kristin, Paige Fackler and Trish Craig (Jason); his grandchildren, Ryker and Tenley Craig; and his siblings, Donald Edelman and Marlene Newhart. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Gene's memory to a charity of one's choice.
