It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fay S. Scott of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Duncannon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Earl Dewey and Alma Sheaffer (Hostetter); her husband Richard J. Scott; and her siblings, Lloyd, Lynn and Robert Sheaffer.

She is survived by : her children, John Richard Scott (Jan) of Carlisle, Debra L. Peebles of Mechanicsburg and Michael Allen Scott of Mechanicsburg; her grandsons, Jason Barnhart, Brian and Sean Peebles; her great grandchildren, Carson Wettrich and Joshua Barnhart; and her sister Joyce Smiley (Lester) of Shermans Dale.
