It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L. Stonemetz of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Stonemetz and Margaret Stonemetz; and his siblings, Eugene, Lee Stonemetz and Carol Khalili.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene; his son John (David Miley) of Lewes, DE; and his brother James of Hickory, NC..
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Malpezzi Funeral Home (8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 4219 E. Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
