Gerald N. Wingert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald N. Wingert of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gerald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gerald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Wingert and Clara Wingert; and his wife Dr. Lucille Lady Wingert. He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Zook (Jim Zook), Anita Keagy (Paul Keagy), Royce Wingert, Judy Mellinger (Eugene Mellinger) and Lorene Mylin (Lee Mylin). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
