He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Kipe and Daisy Bell Kipe (Sprenkle); his former wife Verda R. Kipe (Zook); and his granddaughter Victoria Heisey. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kipe (Thuma); his children, David H. Kipe (Marian) of Winston Salem, NC and Gloria J. Heisey (Jim) of Manheim, PA; his grandchildren, Nathan, Mathew, Vanessa and Valerie; his brothers, Benjamin Kipe of Chambersburg, Elmer Kipe of Shippensburg, PA, Vaughn Kipe of Chambersburg and Daniel Kipe of Chambersburg; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Anna Mae, Richard, Daisy, Pearl, Charles and Janet. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
