He was predeceased by: his father Henry James Doherty; and his siblings, John R. Doherty, Maureen C. Doherty and Elizabeth "Betty" A. Comeau. He is survived by: his son Stephen "Steve" Doherty (Amber Fitzgerald) of East Wenatchee, WA; his siblings, Dennis P. Doherty of Everett, MA, Henry J. Doherty of Danvers, MA, Richard H. Doherty of Everett, MA, Patricia D. McLaughlin of Everett, MA and Diane Doyle of West Newbury, MA; his friend Dr. Paul Kunkel (Rosie); Benny and Sam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
