She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Ponesmith and Sarah S. Ponesmith (Dare); and her brothers, John and Jerry Ponesmith. She is survived by: her husband Larry M. Nelson; her children, Christy L. Berger (Ron) of Duncannon, Jerry J. Nelson and Sally J. Bowman (Henry) of Lemoyne; and her grandchildren, Ryan Hockensmith, Jason Hockensmith, Dustin Hockensmith, Clinton Berger, Thomas Nelson, Stephanie Yetter, Nicholas Harper, Timothy Harper and Joshua Harper. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren.
