With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann E. Burns of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Steelton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Gally and Anna Gally (Dvornekovic); and her siblings, Charles Gally Jr., Roseann Young and Irene G. Reich.

She is survived by : her husband David E. Burns; her children, David Burns (Patty), Michael Burns (Tracy), Tim Burns and Karen Sharif (Sayf); her grandchildren, Sara, Shawn, Jennifer, Jonathan, Imogen, Ziwar and Charlie; and her brother Robert Gally (Patricia).
