John E. Strausbaugh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John E. Strausbaugh of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Strausbaugh and Margaret Strausbaugh; and his brother James Strausbaugh. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Strausbaugh (Hirsch); his children, Loretta Dean, Cathy Zimmerman (Scott), Debbie Pesich (Randy) and Stephen Snyder (Amy); his siblings, Mary Palmer, Ruth Kessler, Darlene Snyder (Joe), Donna Forry (AJ) and Robert Strausbaugh; and his sister-in-law Joan Strausbaugh. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (400 E Simpson St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association or St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
