He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Hilbert and Elizabeth J. Hilbert (Troxell); and his siblings, Delphine Harbaugh, Irene Gerver, Catherine Strickhouser, Earl and Ray Hilbert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Hilbert of Littlestown, Harry Hilbert (Mary Jane), Paul Hilbert (Phyllis) and Edith Wantz of Emmitsburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
