He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonza Carl Miller and Anna Alice Miller (Zimmers); his siblings, Robert Miller, Richard Miller, David "Bert" Miller, Jerry Miller and Sandra Miller; and his pet Freeway.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Alexis Miller (Browell); his daughters, Alecia Ann McGullion (Michael) of Carlisle and Susan Jo Conrath (Michael) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Jacob Conrath, Joseph Conrath and Taylor Wareham; and his siblings, Thomas Miller of New Buena Vista, Virginia Carlson of Bedford, Alice "Sis" Burtnett of Everett and Patricia "Patsy" Diehl. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
