She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Thumma, Sr. and Grace May Thumma (Hollinger); her significant other Ray Bender, Sr.; her son Rickey L. Bender; and her siblings, William Thumma and Violet Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Ray Bender, Jr. (Linda) of Camp Hill and Brad D. Bender (Shelly) of Lewisberry; her grandchildren, Bryan Bender, Jen Farkas, Ricky Bender, Dustin Ganoe, Cory Ganoe and David Bender; her great grandchildren, Larissa Hotz, Ashleigh Bender, Scotland Bender, Abby Bender, Anna Bender, Hunter Ganoe, Kennedie Bender and Brady Bender; and her siblings, Elmer "Sonny" Thumma, Jr. (Joann) of Shermans Dale and Grace Koser of Dillsburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
