She was predeceased by: her father Edward Charles Varner; and her brothers, William Charles Varner and John Edward Varner. She is survived by: her husband John H. Smith; her children, Michael W. Smith (Tammy) of Mechanicsburg, Vickie L. Smith of Mechanicsburg, Scott A. Smith (Chris) of Shermans Dale and Kimberly "Kim" D. Johnston of Mechanicsburg; her sisters, Elizabeth A. Penterman of Phoenix, AZ and Beverly J. Chapman of Phoenix, AZ; and her pet Missy. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; her 11 great-grandchildren.
