He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sharp and Velma Sharp (Coulson); his wife Louise Sharp; his son David M. Sharp; and his brother Richard Sharp, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Steven E. Sharp of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Whitney Sharp, Isaac Sharp and Rebekah Johnston; and his brothers, Jack Sharp and Larry Sharp (Donna). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CUMC New Building Fund, 333 S. Spring Garden Street, Carlisle PA 17013.
