He is survived by: his wife Ila; his children, Jeanie Stretton (Sam) of West Chester, PA, Joy Derck (Randy) of Palmyra, PA and David Brubaker (Mert) of Harrisonburg, VA.; and his siblings, Lois Lehman of Mechanicsburg, A. Hess, A. Graybill, J. Milford (Mel) and Stanley Brubaker. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grantham Brethren in Christ Church (421 Grantham Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
He carried this love of the land into adulthood, happily tending gardens and donating fresh vegetables from his homes in Dillsburg and Messiah Village.
