He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKain and Helen Elizabeth Smith (Papageorge); and his wife Kay Baker. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Shaunna; his son Rhett Baker (Shaunna); his grandson Everett; his siblings, Patricia McKinsey (Colin), John Kyler (Joan), Louis Kyler (Karen), Christine Weinberg (William), Gerald Smith (Sheila), Cheryl Lathrop (late Robert) and Brian Smith (Katy); and his close friend Kenneth Smith Jr.. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
