Tygard (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Frederick and Sarah E. Tygard (Williams); his wife Mary Jane Youngling Tygard; his siblings, Arthur F. Tygard, Jr., Jeannette Shultz and Martha Jane McEwen; and his daughter Jenny Tygard.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne T. Federico (Edward) of Herndon, VA, J. Rodger Tygard (Karen Fitzpatrick) of Prospect Hill, NC and Elizabeth T. Vipperman (William) of Mechanicsburg; his adoptive children, Hung and Tuyen Ngo of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Christina Hawley, Daniel Federico, John Vipperman, Vy Janet Ngo-Peterson and Phong David Ngo; his stepgrandsons, Rory and Jake Cooley; and his sister Sarah Ann Schwegler (Herbert). He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren.
